Bourbons 72 - Williamsburg

We approached this small casino in northern Michigan with some hesitation, unsure if it could meet our cravings for a delicious dinner, but it certainly exceeded our expectations! The menu was extensive without being overwhelming; the bleu cheese dressing on my salad was distinctive and delicious; the prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the baked potato was just right! Since it's located in a casino, the atmosphere can be a bit noisy, and we didn't care much for the smoked butter that accompanied the roll, but overall, we had a wonderful evening here!

The service was quite slow, even for a Friday night. Our group of ten experienced numerous issues throughout the evening. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and was surprised to see a $5 charge for having it blackened. That feels like an excessive amount just for some seasoning. Having worked in the service industry, I found the level of service we received to be disappointing. Overall, it was not a great dining experience.

The service was excellent overall, meeting high expectations. We had a lovely dinner for two, which cost around $150. The meals were very enjoyable. Here's a quick breakdown: we dined in for dinner, spending about $50 to $100 per person. The food was rated 4 out of 5, as was the service and the atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Lobster Bisque, Sirloin 31 Steak, and Shrimp Cocktail.

Food was delicious. Not sure what happened on our visit but service started out great and then went downhill very fast. Took just a long (45mins) to get our check and cash out as the whole rest of the meal took. Waitress asked if we wanted or check, 25mins later the manager brought our check and another 20mins later they picked it up from our table. They weren 't overly busy at the time either. Just felt very forgotten about and not even a sorry about the wait
