Wake N Bake Donuts - Wilmington

I visited this restaurant on Sunday morning. It's best to arrive early if you want a variety of donuts to choose from. They offer different flavors with unique toppings. The donuts we tried were good, but not exceptional. I'm not sure if I would make a special trip to come back here.

Tried them today?strawberry strawberry cheesecake both PHENOMENAL!! Maple bacon great what expected! Purple Rain possibly the BEST donut I?ve ever eaten!! I move in 3 weeks will be back before I do!! Been there several times?always phenomenal!!

I had a great experience at this small donut shop in Wilmington! They offer a variety of fun flavors and unique toppings and fillings. I was torn between trying the chocolate couch potato, the PB Get Bizzy, and the Cinnabomb with cream cheese icing and cinnamon sugar. I ended up choosing the Cinnabomb, which tasted like a cinnamon danish. It was good, but I think I would have enjoyed one of the other flavors more. As an added bonus, they were running a special that day and gave a "house" donut with each purchase. This donut had hints of pumpkin and cinnamon and was surprisingly moist and tasty, surpassing the Cinnabomb in my opinion. Overall, I learned that it's important to choose wisely when selecting a donut flavor. But when in doubt, why not just try them all?

Today was the first time we had doughnuts from Wake n Bake, but definitely not our last one. Their Boston cream and strawberry are amazing, so are the other flavors. We will go back soon to get some more.
