The restaurant menu at the hotel was somewhat limited, but the quality of the meals was excellent. The Sunday roast introduced during our stay was a highlight, and the desserts, particularly the posset, were particularly delicious. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable and well-presented.
Had tee with friends on Sunday afternoon. this is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with magnificent views of the river. the food was above all the most fabulous festive cheesecake ever and the service was just as good. the receptor was really. friendly and chatting and the restaurant service was excellent. that was our second visit, and we are already planning our next one. we can stay the next time.
During our short stay at the hotel, we dined at the restaurant for dinner. The menu offered a variety of options, though some may find it slightly limited in choice. However, there were still plenty of dishes to choose from. The smoked trout mousse was excellent, the arancini was delicious, and the burger was large and one of the best I've ever had.
My daughters and I wanted to thank you and your staff for helping to make the celebration of my husband's life a very special afternoon. All the staff were so very kind, friendly and extremely helpful. The afternoon tea was beautifully displayed and tasted delicious!...Many of our guests were delighted to go home with a little goodie bag of shortbread, delightful cake, brownies and scones. I have visited the Rose Crown on several occasions over the years and enjoyed wonderful meals outside on the patio area by the river, with friends and family. A few of our guests were so taken with the hotel and location they have mentioned, a reservation for next year is a must.
