Poor quality jam, more like jelly, small amount of poor quality cream. Tea cup cheap and nasty. Tables nothing like those in the photos. I feel sorry for the tourists who genuine believe this to be authentic cream tea.
We stopped here for drinks before going round the castle. It's a great location with views of the castle and the band marching out after the Changing of the Guard. Tables on the cobbled street with nice cheerful umbrellas. Nice drinks at reasonable prices.
The food at this restaurant was actually inedible and repulsive. It's a tourist trap. The only positive aspect is the setting.
The restaurant had fantastic food, drinks, and service. The menu catered well to families with children. The staff were hospitable and provided quick service. The milkshakes were especially tasty. We look forward to coming back again!
If you are seeking a delightful place to eat before exploring the castle, this cozy café is a must-visit. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Windsor.
