Harbour House Waterfront Eatery

Our reservations were for 6:15. We did not leave until 8:45. We did not get to order food until 6:50. The waitress tried her best but had an excessive amount of tables. Most parties with the same amount of people came in after ours and left before us. Food was excellent except for cold to touch vegetables and 2 people in our parties food coming almost 15 minutes after everyone else.

I usually don't review but the last couple times I dined here was disappointing. I used to really enjoy dining here with the water view. I read the reviews of restaurants before reserving so I thought I would give a review. I had the stew which was terrible. The meat was dry and the vegetables were not good. The wait staff was okay. I don't know what changed but the last couple times were not good. We probably won't return.

Nice location with waterfront views. Service was excellent and food was good. Because of the openness of the dining area, the noise level was a little less intimate but communication across the table was still good. Value for money was very good. Parking was very good.

The food was good. Too many tables. Waitress had too many tables to serve so service suffered. Suggest you remove some of the tables which would improve service and ambience. Despite that the evening was enjoyable.

Excellent appetizer's , tempura shrimp, calamari, lobster and crab dip with pita chips, baked brie, calamari and chicken bites....every single one was outstanding. We enjoyed the happy hour pricing on apps and our beer and wine. The Friday night dinner special of haddock and fries was enjoyed by all, nice crispy fries.
