Little Ricky's - Winnetka

We enjoyed dinner after a concert at the Winnetka Chapel. We enjoy sitting at the bar for quick service so we did and Raphael was our server. He was so nice and attentive. I had a delicious Blackberry and Bourbon cocktail to start while Craig had a craft beer. Lots to choose from for dinner! I wanted something light so chose the Beet and chicken salad. It had a light dressing on really fresh greens and freshly roasted beets and mandarin oranges. Craigs salad was Ahi Tuma on greens. I loved the marinade and intense freshness of his salad. Both salads had tender protein and very fresh greens. We loved the ambience and the personal attention. The staff all said good night as we left. If you want to watch soccer, the bar will accommodate.

I got chicken wings-garlic Parmesan and siracha. It was super crisp and a lot of good flavor. The atmosphere was interesting and had mixed themes.

Came here on a Sunday and waited and waited and waited to be even acknowledged outside. The masked server probably thought we were homeless people just sitting at one of their tables and couldn 't even acknowledge us....... Wait that was a review I started writing over a year ago ...oh geez spring to now 2023 and glad we tried this place bcoz probably not coming back anytime soon. I gave 2 stars for the service but the food was subpar at best. Started with bang bang shrimp ap and I had the fish and chips which were not good alrhough our server said it was. The breading was greasy and it did not taste fresh, nor did the oil it fried in. The Cobb salad was tasty enough but had better elsewhere, and the chicken Milanese looked dry but our friend seemed to like it. I 'd prob not rule this place out on the second visit but not really excited to come back. Little Ricky 's in their prime was way better when they were here at this spot, and that says a lot.

Really enjoyed a casual dinner here. The service was excellent and the food was good. Varied menu and decent prices. I had the salmon sliders and my husband the quesadillas. Both tasty.

So I order the half chicken and it was missing the breast??? So what did I get 2/3 chicken??? Do you think we don’t know?? You sux!!
