I find that disappointing. the prices are also expensive for the quality of the food they serve.
So many airport food offers are only average or more likely bad. not these. we have eaten here a few times and were always satisfied. the sandwiches are very beautiful and the new fries spectacular. wein is tasty and plentiful, the service friendly...and helpful. the room is relaxing and airy with a lot of space and a great view of the pists and the far away. the prices are somewhat higher than 'treet', but quality wise, the bistro is on par with any good local caffe. my suggestion is to improve the beer selection by adding some local brews and the bud for kanadier or blue ditch. that's canada?
It is worth coming early at the airport wpg and breakfast in the prairie bistro. we like to sit on the windows comfortable chairs and enjoy our breakfast. my man had the bacon lovers breakfast bowl and I had the hearty breakfast with iron, choice. of ham, sausage, speck, toast and tattoo. I have to eat so much at the end of the day. excellent coffee. excellent service.
I stayed at prairie bistro with my young son before a recent flight from beautiful winnipeg. Airport food tends to be underwhelming at best, but prairie bistro surpassed all expectations. we received a large service, a generous meal part that was served on...2 tellers so that my son and I could share the dish, and the food quality was excellent (Bier-Battered fish chips). it was really not such a great meal and experience in an airport lounge (which has no competition on ywg).
There are few choices, this one has places to sit so I picked it for that reason. $4 for a coke. $16.50 for a burger and chips that was average. Service is good, but there were only a few people there.
