Umi Sushi - Winnipeg

This restaurant claims gluten-free / friendly options on their skipping of the food menu, then expediently misleads their customers by trying to charge extra once their order has been placed, claim to an outdated menu. Instead of honoring the price they have charged me, which was clearly listed on their menu, they tried to get extra money from me after my order was placed. Umi Sushi has lost an order of $45 and a customer.

The location is good and quiet. The dishes are very common without surprise Hope it would soon improve

We made a reservation and went for a special Mother's Day meal. Our party included 4 adults and 4 children. The food was served very quickly and everything was excellent in taste and presentation. The children enjoyed the mango role and the veggie and shrimp...tempura. They were also very entertaining from the fish tank. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

The food is excellent The owners are fun and friendly Our favorites are the Phoenix Roll and tempura Shrimp just to name some We recommend Umi for all Sushi lovers

Waitress was very helpful and efficient. Our food came quickly and was excellent. We had tempura, the small boat (which is a good sized portion), the Winnipeg Roll and A Manitoba Roll. They gave us a special birthday roll because it was our daughter's birthday....Highly recommend it. Restaurant seating is on the 2nd floor so you may want to check about accessibilty.
