Moominn - Wollongong

Moomin is my favorite in wollongong. the Czech food is authentic, the service beautiful, decor is fun and eclectic, and the drinks are gorgeous.

Amazing vibe as soon as you walk in! Highly recommend to try uncle boks pancakes!

Moomin is at the lower end of the crown street in wollongong and it is a little gem that is definitely worth a look. thema is Czech cuisine in house style and there are many great dishes in offer. the dumplings are my favorite, but there are less exotic options for those without adventurous strips including loaded frits and good old carvings. there is an equally impressive drink menu and the cocktails come all in different types of interesting glasses and tassen. some are served on big nuts china, which in the hands of my rather stout truck driver friend, but it all complements the fun of culinary experience. Do not forget to pay a buck for a duck and get her a very sweet little rubber duck in one of her cocktails to take home as souvenir. the only side was that, although the staff was very friendly, I felt that they were under the pump and understated. the service suffered and we had some meal times to strange and wonderful times. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back and would recommend moominn to anyone looking for a fun and delicious culinary experience.

Just love everything about the place. great personal, great beer and a playlist that suits everyone.

Love dropping in here for a drink espresso martini and some deliciousness vegan pancakes or haloumi, coriander, pear spring rolls! What's not to like? The staff are always so lovely too.
