Contribuer aux commentairesI 've only had pizza (take out) from here, so I cannot comment on service or any other items on the menu. Pizza at Corner Grille is different from the typical pizza everyone is used to. As most customers mentioned, Corner Grille 's pizza is more like a flatbread topped with ingredients. I 'm a pizza lover and the pies we received were passable. My friends rave about their pies, so I was confused. Maybe their pies taste better served right away? Maybe they do not travel well? We ordered two meat pies and one vegetable pie. Each bite tasted burnt, bland, and dry. Meat ingredients were scattered all over the pizza, but looked scarce. I 'm not sure what happened. I 'm going to give Corner Grille another try, but this time... I won 't get take out.
Came back here again with my partner and it was his first time trying the place. We got the Caveman and the chicken Caesar salad pizzas. Both are sooooo delicious. We also got the mango iced tea which was yummy. I love the pizza here so much and always crave it!!! This place is seriously a hidden gem! The pizza shop is cute and every table is covered with a large sheet of paper that you can draw on. There's a small collection of colored pencils at each table to keep you busy while you wait for your order to come out.
Corner Grille is BACK!! Just got a chicken Caesar pizza to go and the portion was large and flavors were spot on. It reminded me of my first pizza here over a decade ago.
Very disappointed with the pizza that I picked up. The toppings weren't visible as they once were on the menu. The man told us to pick up the pizza and we arrived 5 minutes early and our pizza was brick cold. I used to love this place back in middle school. It seems as though the love is lacking and care, now that the place is more known than it was a couple years ago. Not sure if it's worth $17/pizza anymore.
I discovered this place while I was in college quite a few years ago, and it 's safe to say this was the start of a love for small, local, charming, IG-worthy eateries after eating here. After all, it was around the start of Instagram! It 's also pretty neat that they have been featured on Phantom Gourmet. Being someone who 's very picky with other styles of pizza, and growing up in New England, Papa Ginos, Reginas, and Sbarro 's were the only places that satisfied my thin, floppy, New York style pizza cravings but that 's until I had Corner Grille. Their incredibly thin pizza pie was the most exciting food in the area because there was nothing like this and it was all the rage for IGers with the homemade lemonades in mason jars and attractive vibrant pizza in a chic little setting. Anyways, I don 't think I 've had any other pie other than the Caveman, which is a classic pizza combination and my all-time favorite anywhere. It 's clearly my go-to and it has never disappointed. Today, however, the bottom crust was a little over burnt, and I know they encourage the burnt edges here, but what I got was a pile of ash underneath (see my pictures). Still, the pizza was very tasty and with a raspberry lemonade to wash it down, it was close to perfection. I wish they had a water dispenser at the counter because the lemonade was a bit too concentrated for my liking. Service is usually great and friendly, but today I didn 't receive top quality. The girl at the counter was a bit distant and didn 't seem to care for the most part. Just took my order and asked me to sign and that was it. No mention of how long it 'll take or didn 't grab my beverage or even tell me to feel free to open their fridge and get it myself (I feel that should be stated). We left while waiting because there was clearly something burning in the kitchen and smoke was definitely clouding up the place and then came back inside to seat at a table because the tables outside were wobbly. Even another customer made a joke about his order burning up inside. When the food arrived, it was just placed and off she went. No enjoy your meal! Or anything like that. That 's when I started to regret paying up front and giving the tip ahead of time because I did not feel tip was deserved today. But I mean, this is small stuff that can be forgiven. Regardless, Corner Grille is a great shop with fair prices and plenty of outstanding topping options for pizza to choose from and I would say it 's a must to enjoy table side rather than taking it out because that fresh out of the oven feeling is what it 's all about! You 'll only capture the best of flavors when the pizza is hot and to be quite honest, they do cool down fast due its thinness. All in all, I highly recommend Corner Grille!
