1920s Cafe

I used to visit this café every day for about six months three years ago, and today, I was nearby and thought I’d treat myself to a good coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the taste of the coffee, the warm welcome, and the attitude of the staff are just as great as I remembered—if not better. It was absolutely delightful, and the coffee tasted fantastic. There aren’t many places in Auckland where you can get a great cup of coffee, but this is definitely one of them. Cheers, Batista!

The mince on toast is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy, and you can tell they’ve put thought into the decor. Overall, it’s a superb café with excellent service. I highly recommend you stop by for your coffee — they truly work hard to provide high-quality food and drinks! Thank you for my daily coffees and for the free newspaper at the end of the day!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service at 1920s Cafe. Instead of just a takeaway counter, I was treated to delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals. The quiche was packed with generous bites of spinach and feta, and the salad on top drizzled with balsamic was a lovely finishing touch. The eggs benedict served on a rosti were a delightful surprise, accompanied by a generous helping of rich and flavorful hollandaise sauce! The atmosphere was calm and inviting, featuring traditional tables and chairs as well as comfortable "reading" chairs that encouraged me to relax and enjoy my time there. Thank you, 1920s Cafe!

I can only repeat what everyone else has said coffee top notch! Is it the brand? is it the barista? I don't know but that was made just how I like it both times! I'm not in Auckland often, but I will walk past many others to enjoy my one cup a day coffee there. The muffin just completed the very enjoyable experience. Well done!

The food was very nice. The staff were friendly, and l just loved the overall look of the shop. I'm from Invercargill.
