The lodge is in a fantastic location within the park, offering magnificent mountain views from the dining rooms and second floor lobby. The food exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed a pleasant walk along the lunch tree path after dinner. The staff, especially Oliver, were incredibly friendly and helpful in resolving a reservation issue. The room was clean, though I did spot a few ants in the bathroom one night - but being in the forest, it was not a major concern. Overall, I was pleased with our choice to stay at Jackson Lake Lodge.
The amenities at this restaurant are fantastic! Enjoy the coffee bar in the morning for a delicious breakfast and snacks and salads for lunch. The Pioneer Grill offers great breakfast options and the Blue Heron Lounge is a beautiful and relaxing spot to enjoy a drink and snack. The staff was very helpful and check-in was quick. The activities director was very knowledgeable and there are stairs available for outside views as construction continues inside. We stayed in a house with a terrace and loved it - highly recommended. Taking a short walk around the lodge offers stunning sights. The restaurant is located 6,700 feet above sea level, so it can be a bit cool but the sunny weather made up for it. Make sure to use OpenTable to reserve dinner in the room mural, where you'll find wonderful food and service. We loved the gift and sport clothing stores in the area. Keep in mind that prices may be higher, but the service and quality of everything is well worth it - they support sustainable farms and greenhouses. We will definitely be back!
