Eleonora’s restaurant tells its name of eleonor de castella, mother of paul de castella, one of the pioneers of the Yarra Valley, the restaurant uses local products to create excellent destinations. with autumn on us, the menu has warming dishes like blued eye Fillet...with petersnip maische. Please note that the dress code is semi-formal or smart casual. the extensive wine list includes local and international wines.
I couldn't fault anything at this establishment. The service was sensational and the food is amazing. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and dined at Eleonores every night. The NYE celebration was amazing and we will be there again. Niel and the team...are wonderful. 5 Stars!
I don't know how this place has a hat?!? Service and food certainly aren't up to standard and it's an insult to all other 1 hat venues. The restaurant at yering station just across the lawn has epic food and they don't even have one....Restaurant lacks any ambience. Good place to go and have a nap maybe but definitely not a nice, romantic, fun or interesting meal.
We enjoyed a three course dinner here at Eleonore's restaurant. The meal was beautifully presented and cooked. The mushrooms scallops were excellent as an entree. The snapper was cooked just right and the pannacotta with lime a lovely way to finish. Service was very good...and the dining room here has gorgeous views over the gardens.
