The Quays - Youghal

Simply the best. Delicious menu and great atmosphere. The staff are so wonderful, friendly and helpful. Call in for a drink, food or both. You won't be disappointed.

A very authentic and very pleasant place in the heart of Youghal for a drink or a small meal. The service is super friendly and also the toilets are exemplary.

The quays certainly is a one stop shop for beautiful food,the chocolate fudge cake is to die for and theres a great atmosphere we will definitely be back again and we highly reccoment it to all.

Upon arrival we had to wait 30 mins for a table. During that time we tried to get a drink at the bar but the barman was so busy serving tables that he totally ignored us. Eventually after 20 mins we were served . Once seated our meal was served quickly. However the waitress failed to deliver the chips with my meal. She said she would return with them but never did. We also ordered drinks to accompany our meal but they also never arrived. The waitress never came near us during our meal. When we had finished I complained that my chips had not been served and neither had our drinks. We got a very half hearted apology and was given a 3 euro reduction on our bill because I hadn't been served the chips. All in all very disappointing service although the food we did have was delicious.

What a pleasant surprise to find this gem of a restaurant/bar. The manager, Phillip, was amazing as was the wait staff! If I could give it a higher rating I certainly would!
