Excellent food, very friendly, bartenders, and service people, perhaps a stroke of luck. The federal was busy. Would go back there in a heartbeat. my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and I had the West 34 burger. Both were excellent.
Took a long time to get waited on. Food took awhile also. The ice tea was more like tea flavored water. Weakest tea I've ever had. Hamburg tasted like old frozen patty. Waited along time on bill. Overall not
Stumbled across this gem! The food was spectacular! The tips and grits from the starter menu are the perfect portion size for those with a lighter appetite or someone wanting to make sure there's room for dessert. The shrimp and grits comes with a side salad; the house dressing is out of this world. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great for a night out with friends. Best dining experience I've had in a long time. Definitely my go to restaurant next time I'm in Youngstown for a concert.
BEST downtown restaurant! I've lived in LA, ATL, Charleston SC, and Cleveland. Lots of good restaurants (Bistro meh, V2 yummy, Federal meh, etc. in Youngstown, but if you're a foodie with a well-traveled palate, then West 34th is undefeated. Great drinks too! Shrimp and grits A+. Ceasar salad and grilled shrimp A+. Steak A+. High quality ingredients, very well seasoned, and great temp! I hope how W34th checks all the boxes never changes.
Great spot in the middle of downtown Youngstown! Owners are like family the food is amazing, I always order a second meal for later!! Chicken 34 is my favorite dish Staff is always patient
