I really enjoy local 'neighborhood ' restaurants. The food is excellent--some of the best cheese/onion enchiladas and chili rellenos that I have ever eaten. A great place to have a great meal.
Tonight my family(consisting of my father and step mom visiting from the Miami area, my daughter and son in law with a baby originally from NM, and myself from Paso Robles) we tried out this place based on reviews. Well let me tell you it exceeded my expectations. First the staff is so sweet. The waitress was so patient with us as we tried to decide what to get and still delivered all orders correctly and wow the portions are huge! The food was extremely authentic tasting and the lil place had a warm traditional ambiance. Apparently this place will be merging with Zarape's in November at a location near McDonald's. Glad they advised us, as we are for sure going to be coming back for this food and staff. We are having friends and family visiting off and on in the near future and this is by far the place (or Zarape's after Nov) that we will be more than excited to take them. LOVED IT!!!!!!!! We had the chimicanga, fish tacos, chile rellenos, tamales, quesadilla, carnitas, chicken enchilada, topped with margaritas. YUM!
Great food, Chile Verde es muy delicioso! Hidden so look for Quickstop gas nearby and then its alcoved in the corner of the stores. Great service, fun listening to Mariachi's
