Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Il Lungomare

Good reviews for this place and it looked clean and well presented. Only two other tables occupied but service was very slow from a miserable waiter who really did not want to be bothered. We wanted a pizza each but informed no pizza at lunchtime. We ordered beers and a pasta dish each was just ok. Waiters attitude was appalling throughout. Will not return.

We visited this restaurant having just arrived in Zambrone and had a very nice light lunch in very pleasant surroundings overlooking the sea.

Ate here several times during our stay. The pizzas are excellent, the 600g steak was amazing, the mixed grill was succulent and the beef stew was sublime (not very often my wife gets plate envy, but she did when she tasted the stew! Between Tropea, Pizzo and Vibo Valentia, there must be upwards of 300 restaurants. Every single one is Italian. Lungomare is no different, but does offer a variation to the norm by having a grill menu for both meat and fish. The restaurant itself is quite large, the staff are very friendly and helpful, but you will need some basic Italian to get by. Top tip: save room for desert, the profiteroles are to die for.

For a few ten years that we come to this fantastic New Year's hotel because the very nice hotel you eat fantastically and the very smart staff and care, I would not change it with anyone else

Because we liked very kind and personal care. all this in the typical Romagna cordiality we spent two days pampered in an atmosphere of friendship...with a little entertainment very good... to remake a greeting to the whole staff.
