Restaurant Tavernaki Kalymnos - Zürich

Excellent food, good quality and for Zurich terms, quite a good value for money! Would easily recommend literally any of the meat dishes and for sure all the desserts as well. The store is decorated in an ethnic fashion but very evidently warm and cozy....All in all, not to be missed!

Not my first time here and not my last. warm service, so friendly and helpful with the menu. the eating was tasteful, served without a long wait time. the presentation was very nice and the taste was really painful. definitiw a teller recommended for a cozy. even friends.

Meat was very hard could not stop eating it. also the appetizer, an salate of 17 chf was small and very normal salate (not frish). I ordered a tonic and had no gas (was from an opened bottle). low cost for quality.

Location: in the center of zürich, but also not very loud, on a side street near limmatplatz and josefwiese, district 5 I assume: place: authentic greek place, according to the owner, many pieces in the interior decoration is original from. the inseln kalymnos. also the door that separates the 2 main rooms is from the island kalymnos. you are inside, you feel in a Greek tavernaki, so beautiful food: beautiful delicious authentic Greek cuisine. as a seafood lover I can recommend kalmymnos to all who love seafood, Mediterranean or Greek foods. there is also meat food I recommend: as an appetizer pita tzatziki atherinas calamaria roast octopus from grill saganaki with garnelen this is the best, garnelen in a tomato sauce with cheese, simply nice as main dish: grilled octopus is this grilled octopus one of the best I ever had in my grill is also especially that this place is truly authentic, as a piece of greedy is in the middle of the district 5 : simply beautiful, clear 5 stars:

Eating was okay, but rather small portions. service was terrible. was not even asked for a coffee/desert. too expensive.
