It was nice experience to be here for dinner. I was fortunate to have a dinner with our software architect. It really felt so nice.
We have been going to Giardino for about 8 years whenever we felt like good Italian food. Our latest visit was on Saturday, 27/2/16, with some family visiting from the Netherlands. We needed a relaxed, uncomplicated meal and Giardino nailed it! I had...the Borgotara pizza, loaded with Gorgonzola, and it was excellent! My daughter was a little disappointed because the pasta with broccoli wasn't on the menu anymore, but the Crespelli was a good substitute, she says. We all agreed that the dinner was a success thank you, Giardino!
Cozy, good food. The only thing too long to wait. But this is a common thing for all Swiss restaurants.
There is absolutely nothing that sets this restaurant apart from any other Italian restaurant. And for that you pay a premium price and are rewarded with a formal atmosphere to accompany boring cooking. We had a secretary in the office who kept making reservations at...the place. We all finally figured out none of us wanted to go and we banned her from ever booking it again. Reminds me of a corporate theme restaurant you'd find in any chain hotel. The 2 stars are relative to the cooking at other Italian restaurants in the area. Irrespective of price.
