We had a great dinner with my UK colleagues. The quality of the service and the kitchen itself were at the high level. And my British friends liked the atmosphe... Mediocre lunch menu lack of choices. Restaurant was empty and a 45 min wait on a rare steak. When it finally arrived the onion rings were so over cooked on top... Had a side caesar wich was good till found the manky piece of lettuce covered in brown slime in the centre of it. To top it all off there pale ale is super hoppy and more like an amber. Wont be eating here for lunch anymore. Management tried to say the slime is carm oinion drizzle but it was in the centre of the side salad bowl. At least the tried to save face with a discount on the food.
