Porcini mushrooms are in season, and my wife had those with pappardelle pasta. Delicious. The negative: I had the wild boar stew. Tasty, but not as tender as it could be. They cooked it too fast and it was a little tough. I know, this is the Italian countryside and we all like to pretend that they are wizards with food, but some of them are not quite Gandalf in this regard. Also, the service was horrible. Just horrible. Even had the 5 Euro “bread and service” charge added to our bill. I didn’t even ask to see if it had been detailed on the menu…I just paid it so I could get out of there, because my butt was asleep from the uncomfortable chair.

Hotel exceptionally clean. Sea view from each window. Eat well, but not exceptional. Would recommend.
