Lire plus We stayed at the Off Paris Seine for 4 nights. TLDR: we are glad we stayed here, but probably wouldn’t stay again. EXPERIENCE: The service was great. Everyone at the front desk and in the restaurant was friendly and helpful. On our first night the AC in our room was broken. The hotel gave us a fan and was able to move us to a new room the next day, which was uncomfortable for the first night but not completely horrible. AESTHETIC: The overall hotel needs some updating. Some things were broken in our room, like light fixtures and towel bars, and the carpet in the hallways looked worn and stained. The rooms are definitely small as other reviews have mentioned but the hotel does a good job of providing some space for storage under the bed and in the closets. If you’re a relatively light packer, you’ll be fine staying here. LOCATION: The location was decent.. it was a quick walk to the Metro and we explored along the Seine quite a bit.. but the area outside has a lot of people experiencing homelessness and seems a little rougher around the edges. TIPS: Don’t book the river view if you’re a light sleeper, or if you want to have your blinds open. There are tour boats passing by and boats with bars on the river that play loud music late into the night. Many of the tour boats float right up to the side of the hotel and can easily get a good view through the windows. Probably not the place to stay with kids. Mostly adults staying here. The pool is tiny and we didn’t see anyone swimming in it. Book reservations at the restaurant if you want to eat there. We were lucky to get tables earlier in the evening but most tables were reserved for dinner even on week nights.
