I put a negative review on here some time ago and as we were in the area I thought I’d pop in and see if things had improved. In a positive note there was soap in the men’s toilet this visit but the toilets themselves were very dirty and cobwebs and dead flies on the windows in the bar. I still can’t bring myself to order food!

Lovely pub on the river however the toilets were filthy!! No soap in the Mens at all, Sinks very dirty, light switch on wall filthy obviously not been inspected... Shame as pub has a great atmosphere!

We visited Christmas Eve. Table of 8 with my children and grandchildren. The service and staff were excellent. We ordered mainly the set meal and the grandkids... Lire plus We visited Christmas Eve. I can honestly say the meal was excellent value for money and as a large family we had a fantastic evening.
