Lire plus I have changed my review to reflect my latest experience with this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and were allowed to sit in a padded cabin area next to the sushi bar. The hostess was diligent and friendly. The food was pretty good. This experience was the improvement of what we have experienced in the past. I can't give it 5 stars because it was a 5-star experience, but it deserves to be moved from a star to a four star review. Nice job China House. Stay consistently friendly and focused and you 'll win my favor for good places to eat.

A few weeks ago I had placed a carry out order. I arrived about 4 minutes after scheduled completion time to find ambulance there. Turns out the manager fainted... Well at 430 Pm on a Sunday when the Eagles were playing is not a time to be dealing with an emergency. As you can imagine orders backed up quickly and then shift change was near. I saw this group come together helping tasks that are not in duty. Staying cool under pressure. Every single one of them stayed to help until things were on track. Of course getting yelled at in the process by some angry customers. I have not seen that kind of team work (especially something in the food industry and likely part time) in years. They turned what could have been a very stressful situation and helped each other and the customers. I think it is worth pointing out when you witness something like this.
