The chicken is charred and moist the spicy sauce on top is delish. The biriyani rice is simple yet amazing. Theres something about the chips that make them taste oh so good. The garlic toum cannot be compared to anything I have had before. Theres always a variety of people that eat here and its always at least half full every night of the week which to me speaks volumes to the quality of food LL are serving up. Always hits the spot!!! Only negative is that it takes a while to get your food...so expect at least a half hr delay.

However the restaurant needs to reflect the quality of the prime location....We have now had two poor experiences in a row. The first we forgave as one of those nights, but the second confirmed our fears that the standards are nowhere near what they used to be! The order was taken without anything written down or made on a tablet. This is always a recipe for mistakes, and that's exactly what happened. The mains were brought out in stages, and so far apart that we asked for the first dishes to be taken back and reheated. My steak was not cooked as ordered, and with the wrong sauce, and the bread that we ordered as a starter came out after the main courses!. At that point we were past complaining! They may well have the staff issues that are also plaguing many restaurants however the pricing is very much at the top end of town so for that they need to deliver! I did email the restaurant expressing my concerns but the response was pretty standard and disappointing. The old adage of once bitten, twice shy now applies and we won't be back in a hurry!
