This is a cafe in the busy shopping centre Carrefour du Nord of St. Jerome. They have nice seating inside and tabels in the shopping alleyway across from the do... The variety of coffees served is good. There are little baked desserts as well as salads and sandwiches. There is no table service, but they did offer me help. Shoppers in this center favour this location for a tasty quiet repast, and the newspaper.

The view is gorgeous and the patio wonderful but the cafe has a ridiculous rule where patrons have to order food from the kitchen with their alcohol. After alre... After already having a full meal before our outing, this wasn't desirable. So, to avoid having to get...food for all of us, we put everything on one bill. Tried to order a basic hotdog. Nope, they're out. Grilled cheese? Okay. They delivered potato wedges slathered in oil instead. Then the alcohol order came up short one drink. Poorly operated location with an anachronistic policy on alcohol. This isn't prohibition, and I think I can handle a drink without eating food.
