It is very tastefully furnished, the location and the rooms are great, the wonderful panoramic terrace, where you can enjoy wonderful aperitif drinks and also have meals, is uniquely beautiful. The service is consistently very friendly and helpful. Kitchen: The only downer is the kitchen. Unfortunately the quality is not right. A lot of appearances and chichi, each vegetable is carved into a flower, on each plate an ivy leaf and a flower, a foam, various sauces and liquids. Octopus legs, chicken rolled into sausages, a filet de sole (also other types of fish) rolled into a tough sausage, duck breast was tough, chicken in a good crispy breading was in a watery, acidic liquid, spinach half raw and green beans practically raw, etc. The graved salmon, the tiramisu, the oven cake with the coffee ice cream were very good. On the last evening we wanted to switch to something simple à la carte: hash browns with cheese, royal cheese slices were barely edible, the tarte tatin was a disaster. What a pity!

Before: 40 minutes before our table reservation, I registered at the entrance I was shown our reserved table: a beautiful table in the middle of the winter garden. We said that we would go for an aperitif down by the lake and then be back on time. Unfortunately, back in the restaurant there was only one free table at the edge facing a wall. Horrified by the unbelievable situation, we left the restaurant and, luckily for us, still spent a wonderful evening in the excellent restaurant WERFT in Faoug.
