Lire plus My husband booked us here as a suprise, and might i add a suprise it was. The view was incredible. The staff were brilliant. It was a perfect quiet location. But this was the problem. When it went dark, which its lovely to see the stars, it was pitch black, you couldn't see a thing. Now there are some pretty spectacular views to see from there, from photos I have seen. However there wasn't any tea making facility's. One night the staff had gone and the bar was closed it was only about 8pm (yes this may seem an early time to be in your room but you will read why shortly) all I wanted was a cup of tea, unless I was willing to pay 100franc for a taxi to town and back I had to wait til the next day. If you miss the cable car, last 1 been at 5pm you either had to walk, 2hours 20minutes it took me and my husband, or pay 50 franc. Although the hotel was clean the staff were lovely the food was amazing. Tea making facilities would of made this place 10 out of 10 for me.
