However, the Burnt Ends and Ribs are very good. I never order sandwiches either. If I want a sandwich I'll go to Subway. When I'm at a BBQ restaurant I want barbecued meat and lots of it. I'm not a coleslaw eater so I cannot and will not try and comment on how theirs tastes. Their beans are good. Not great, but good. There were fresh mint sprigs in vases instead of flowers. The booths near the window to see the goings-on in the Pearl District. Our waiter, Andrew, was fantastic and seemed like an actual person (rather than the impersonal, robotic servers I often get). We ordered a $6 appetizer of hummus with both pita bread and pita chips. The pita chips were crispy and I loved the seasoning, and their pita bread was also good. I thought the hummus was bland (yes, I realize it is made of chickpeas). I was expecting lemon juice as noted on the menu description to brighten it up and and deliver a slight acidity, but I couldn't taste it. I used the lemon wedge from my water to juice it up and it was much better. I'm very sensitive to things being oversalted, but I thought this could use a bit more salt. I would not get hummus here again. I ordered a beef shawarma wrap and my partner ordered a chicken one. I preferred his chicken, it was marinated and seasoned perfectly. The shredded steak kabob in my wrap was good, but the meat's flavor got a little lost. The secret dressing was cool, creamy, tangy, and everything I wanted. Tahini bound everything together. The portions were moderate, but I thought our meal was pricey for what it was. For local Middle Eastern cuisine I prefer Laffa, but would give Papa Ganouj another try.

J'ai été surpris que le menu soit si diversifié en offrant une fusion hawaïenne / japonaise, mais manquait de plusieurs plats japonais traditionnels. de de J'ai manqué la bonne heure spéciale de 5 minutes et même si le restaurant était mort le dimanche soir, était assis sur une table de 2 supérieure (légèrement légèrement une bête noire). de de Mon "spécial" était plus de riz et de brocoli que le poisson et le crabe qui était choquant. Vraiment, il y avait suffisamment de riz et de brocoli pour le style familial.

I decided to watch a couple...minutes of the game when a waiter came to me asking if I need anything. I told him that I had been there until that moment and I wanted just to see a couple minutes of the game before leaving. Nobody was around me, except the waiter, I was wearing a mask and kept the distance from the other customers. The waiter told me that “I should leave and go to take some fresh air”. He said that in a very mean way although I was gentle to him. Basically he kicked me out without any reason. It is a shame for such a nice place to have such impolite and unprofessional workers. I will never go back to gaffel am dom.
