To start, we had their tomato salad, minestrone soup, and smoked fish (sorry I have forgotten the name of the fish). For the main course we each had a different spaghetti fish. Every dish was full of flavor. Clearly all ingredients were very fresh. Our servers were very pleasant. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the prime location and quality of our meals.

As most other reviewers have noted, the restaurant is located in a beautiful park. Within a short walking distance you can get spectacular views of Étang de Berre and the Aix en Provence region. They offer an eclectic menu—something for all tastes. Based on our experience, reservations are a must, and if you want your choice on the menu, order promptly. Each of our meals were perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Prices are reasonable. The staff make you feel most welcome in this casual/informal environment. The patio seating during warmer months must be very popular.

We chose the dorade and the steaks. The tomato salad was good. Service was friendly, but slow, again, given the volume of diners. This restaurant has a good reputation, but clearly struggles when under pressure. Too bad.
