Hence the wait for the food was served about 10-15 minutes after we sat in. Our order was delicious and nothing much to complain except the grilled squid was slightly char. Serving staffs were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again .

Part of their proceeds go to support “The Makan Initiative” providing free meals for the elderly and needy. The menu features reasonably priced and tasty local delights, some of which are specials only available during specific hours in the day. My favourite is the vegan fish bee hoon and stinky fried tofu which are pretty hard to find in Singapore! (Special stinky fried tofu event is held on Fridays 8-10pm; visit their Facebook page to pre-order) Update in Nov 2022: The stalls have been refreshed! They are no longer selling Western food and prata. Some new additions include yong tau foo, nasi lemak with OmniFoods golden fish fillet, and finger food! Do also check out the nearby Makan Vegan Ba Kwa retail shop which opened in Sep 2022! Mac's is our local bar since the opening in the neighborhood in 2012. Jaswant and Gopal are very friendly and we are always happy to see them. Gopal's lamb keba... Lire plus Mac's is our local bar since the opening in the neighborhood in 2012. Jaswant and Gopal are very friendly and we are always happy to see them. Gopal's lamb kebabs are the best, and the pommes are fantastic! It is an after-work spot for many, but we like to go there in the evening with our daughter perfect place for them to scoot or ride their balance bike. Definitely recommend!
