Lire plus I was in Fredrick, MD for a submarine reunion and some of us were in search of some place to eat. The Silver Diner was close to our hotel so we decided to try it. Well, let me tell you that this place is fantastic! It’s like a old timey diner on steroids! Everything was fresh and cooked to order. They have a more upscale and sophisticated menu than traditional diners. They even have great crabcakes! Of course, in Maryland they had better! The salads have mixed greens instead of just lame iceberg lettuce. The soups are made in house and delicious! We all enjoyed everything we ordered. I really liked the Chicken Picatta.

First time customer and I wasn't impressed. Ordered 1 burger meal and took 25mins to get it. I was hoping for a really good smash burger, but it was just okay.... Fries were pretty good if you like the shoestring style. Not really good enough for a second trip.
