16.04.2025 - 04:50Overall the experience was fine. The pizza was fine. But I wouldn't seek it out in the future. The $8.00 Garden Salad was rather bland and very small. My husband loved his pasta dish with artichokes in it and seemed to enjoy the garlic bread, enough to eatit all. : Everything has to be ordered separately. The salad and garlic bread do not come with your pasta. And is thereforecharged separately, which adds up quickly. They have some un expected tastes and sides, like onion rings and a pasta withjalapenos in it. Unexpected in an Italian restaurant. All-in-all, I think it was a little pricey for what we got. But theambiance was nice...comfy. and the bartender/server was very nice. I think it is probably a nice place for the neighborhoodfolks to enjoy. And I would possibly eat here again, if I happened to be in the neighborhood. But I wouldn't go out of my way tocome here again. Oh... and if I did come back I would opt for the pasta instead of the pizza.

15.04.2025 - 11:20It's not Indian food. It's frozen meat and veggies in some type of broth with no spice. Too bad, we were looking forward to some good Indian food!

13.04.2025 - 15:43This place must be under new ownership because the quality of service has dropped significantly. This used to be one of my favorite local spots but I will not be returning after my last visit. My family and I ordered three bowls which all include aprotein and a side. Included on those protein options, per the posted menu, is avocado. To our surprise, we were charged twicefor the included protein item! We were charged $1 more as a random open item for avocado on each bowl. Additionally, the postedbowl price is $11.50 but our receipt read $12.50. To the new ownership: First of all, change the prices on your menus if you'dlike to increase prices so consumers know what to expect. Secondly, do not charge twice for included items. Finally, pleaselearn customer service etiquette. When we asked about the discrepancy, a woman named Conchita, who claimed to be the owner, responded in a dismissive manner by saying that avocados were too expensive lately and she had decided to temporarily add asurcharge. Really? Without changing your menu? Umm no. No explanation for the difference in item price posted versus ourreceipt. What?? Lol. Super tacky, super unprofessional and plain terrible customer service. They didnt even give us a copy tosign as we would have left a tip for the cashier who had nothing to do with the poor management of the owner. We left anddisputed the additional charges with our bank with photos of the menu as proof. We got our money back right away. If you dinehere, check your receipt! I hope they get it together!

03.10.2023 - 13:07Nadima's is a cozy little place facing Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. It caters to the local community so it serves sushi, but there are also authentic Mongolian dishes. This is a family-run business and the owners are extremely friendly and eager to discuss traveling in Mongolia. I learned that summers in Mongolia are cooler than winter in California. Tsuivan is a noodle dish with beef. The noodle dough is rolled into sheets and heated on a pan until they resemble crepes. The crepes are stacked and rolled and the noodles are cut by hand into thin strips. The carrots, cabbage, onions, bell peppers, and strips of beef are stir fried. Then the noodles are added on top and left to stream in the pan. The vegetables are soft and the noodles have a distinct spongy texture. The plate is huge and very nourishing. There are a couple ways in which you can modify this dish. You can ask to add milk tea to the noodles, which makes it soupy. There's also a Californian version with different seasonings. The noodles are served with Baitsaanii Salat, a cold salad of tangy carrots, onions, and cabbage. The onions are strong, which is nice, and it is a refreshing contrast to the noodles. I'll need to return to try their khushuur, fried beef pastry pockets.

16.09.2023 - 14:16Went on a Friday night with the bro after the original club we were supposed to go to didn’t allow “cargo shorts”. We cruised the sidewalks until we finally heard some decent music playing from Native Son. Really chill atmosphere; great place for mature folks to lounge crack a cold one, or get their step on. Sweet view from the outside 2nd deck patio. DJ LexaKhan was a SOLID DJ. Played a variety of different genres of music instead of the same old overused songs that the other bars and clubs were playing. If you’re looking for a spot to chill vibe out amongst the grown folk, this place is it.

06.09.2023 - 20:45Crazy DELICIOUS food, was extremely surprised how fresh and fast the service is and food is made. Great variety of tasty dishes and treats, even a kids menu. Ordered 2 more dishes to go for later as we are a 3 hour drive away. Will definitely stop by when in town again!!!

17.06.2023 - 11:41This place has delicious food, the end of history. However, I have to mention that the food quality will only drop a bit if they are really busy. Staff are nice and very helpful, always happy to make suggestions. Do not confuse diet and health food. Most of their dishes are healthier than others take places, but they can still be hard in calories. I try to simply go to sauces and bread, even the portions are slightly large enough for two people.

17.06.2023 - 07:09Very good authentic India food in Laguna. We did not expected this, we searched for Indian good near by and google provided this. It came out to be very good choice. Owners were very friendly. If you are a tourist and looking for Indian food, must visit this place.

16.06.2023 - 04:09Visited last night (8/29/14) for my wife's birthday, was in your other places, but wanted to see it as his next to us. Beautiful, open feeling and appearance inside, people are not crammed over each other, plus if you want, you can eat in the terrace area, which is an advantage. The staff were very well presented and extremely polite/helpful. I would like to add the young lady who was greeting the door that the night was very good, she was wisely dressed and very helpful for our visit. Food was nicely prepared, very pleasant in its presentation, both the look and the aromas were very pleasant. Every duck we had a wonderful taste that put it apart, the naan bread we had ordered again was perfect and not difficult to eat with meals. Plus for my own personal pleasure good selection of Indian beer. Recommend this place if you want a good decent curry and to be a Brit who lived in the states for 11 years, we know our curries. Will be back for more. Thanks again for a wonderful evening, as it was my wife's birthday.
