Lire plus Firstly I'd like to mention that our host (Name: Guy was so helpful, polite, and service was impeccable. My husband comes a few times a year for work and Baselworld, so obviously he knows where to go for a quick bite and long dinners. As being a California Girl I like to try new things and sneak in as much organic as I can. Menu: Meats Cheese Husband loves to order above and beyond what we can actually finish! We started with a nice rosé and charcuterie. Guy, our Host, recommended some cheese and meats that were local and delicious (Bravo Guy! Salad Guy, our host advised us that the salads were large enough to feed 2 people, I think it could have fed 3-4! It was delicious, fresh, crisp, and so many options on the menu to choose from. You cannot go wrong with whatever you choose as everything is seasonal and fresh. It made this Californian girl's heart sing! Burgers Guy recommended the burger and it was juicy and delicious, loaded with condiments and I'm so glad I split it with my husband! Or else there would be no way that I would have even tried their Hot Dog! Hot Dog 1777 Hot Dog! yes, yes and Yes Please!!!! OK so I forcibly ate this hotdog because of how good it was. I think I enjoyed this more than the Burger! Oh and before I forget I love the shoe string french fries/pom frits/papas fritas or how you say it at home... top for me since I love them thinly fried. Baguette This is what you come here for, and since we had no room, we took two to-go for tomorrow's train to Paris! Thank you again Guy for a fabulous time... next time we will take pictures my friend. My husband said this restaurant will be one of his local spots when he goes back to Basel again this year!
