I had the special, beef cheeks ravioli, and didn 't think it was all that great, kind of gloppy, but the other person who ordered it seemed to enjoy it very much. The charcuterie platter that we ordered from the table was very nice. It is nice and QUIET which was wonderful! Though I hope that their business picks up for their sake. The service ended up being a little rushed because we were headed to a play and should have told them that the moment we arrived instead of a few minutes in--still, considering that they were not busy, it seemed like the service lagged a bit. Extremely friendly, welcoming, and eager to please, though. A nice-looking bar area, though we went directly to our table. It is a wine-focused place, but our one beer-drinker was happy with their beer selection. All in all a very nice evening. Le Central had such an eye-catching outside, and now that they have pulled down those decorations but not effectively replaced or repaired some of resulting holes, the place still looks a bit unfinished from the street. There also is a sign in one window (Kevin something-or-other) that makes it look like an office instead of a restaurant. Even though there are clearly marked open signs, I wonder if the overall look is making people think it 's NOT open? Just a thought for management from someone who drives past the place every morning. I want you to be succesful! By the way, I didn 't see it on the website, but they have some large meals serving 2-4 people that can be ordered a couple of days in advance, including I believe a Morroccan lamb feast of some sort...I was intrigued by that.
