1st time in and service was horribly slow...our server was reprimanded for doing our tableside guacamole. I guess the regular guac person was on break. Instead... Instead of having us wait he served us himself. Eventually we got all courses at once..drinks, water, appetizers, main course...but mostly had to ASK for EVERYTHING. Not enough space to detail how wrong this night went. Only redemption is food was that I had great company and the food was good.

She gave us her recommendations which were unfortunately not tasty to us. I’m an African woman and this place is not reflective of authentic South African cuisine when it comes to flavor and spice. I understand that they do have to appeal to the masses and the American palate but even my American husband was left disappointed. The restaurant is LOUD! thus not inviting for more intimate conversations. In my opinion, it’s more accommodating for a younger crowd, a large group of friends.. etc. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a good meal and date night. Also, the price point is too high for the quality of food served.
