Lire plus Castle is a great hospital. It’s one of my favorites because they do provide really great care.While giving birth, I feel like the fetal monitoring was a little excessive. I was asking for 20 minutes on and 45 minutes off. They were also taking my blood pressure an excessive amount of times especially during contractions, where obviously my blood pressure would be through the roof at the time I’m contracting.Slightly disappointed in the pediatrician that was on call because when I tried to leave the hospital, they wouldn’t see my son for his follow up appointment two days after I gave birth because I decided to delay vaccinations when they had already treated him in the hospital. The staff proceeded to help me “call around the island” and find a doctor that would see him however they were telling every pediatrician that I was delaying vaccinations, and I don’t think that was any of their business to be sharing at the time. I was feeling as though I was being held against me well because they wouldn’t let me leave until I had a follow up appointment, and apparently no pediatrician on the whole island was accepting new patients that were delaying vaccinations.
