12.06.2023 - 12:16El Mayoral is a Columbian home style restaurant in the West Kendall area of Miami. The menu features a wide variety of typical Columbian dishes. Meals are fresh and flavorful and the wait staff is pleasant. You start your meal with a complimentary cup of chicken broth, which was delicious. One of the mist popular dishes is the Bandeja Paisa, which features rice, beans, fried pork skin, grilled or ground beef, sweet plantains, eggs, arepa, and pork sausage. The steak was tender, juicy and flavorful, the fried port skin (chicharron), was crispy and delicious, the red beans were sweet and gently earthy. We have had this dish in several Columbian restaurants in the area however, this one is not to be missed. Probably among the best. The passion fruit mousse was light, sweet, smooth and just the right dessert after a filling meal. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor dining and there is plenty of parking.

11.06.2023 - 12:09Pero, que la Vaina? I am SO happy to have found this tiny hole in the wall Dominican/Cuban/Puerto Rican Gem! I love their Mangu and my Husband loves the Mofongo! 1st time, I called ahead and picked up the food. I ordered Mofongo with Lechon for my Husband, I got a Palomilla steak with rice, beans and very well fried plantains, which is the only way I like them; and an order of 4 Beef empanadas. When I arrived only 15 minutes later, the food was ready but they were making the empanadas fresh to order, so nice! We enjoyed the food so much, we came back the following day for breakfast and sat outside to eat. They have inside seating but it is restricted at the moment due to COVID-19. For breakfast my Husband had the traditional Dominican Breakfast with Mangu and Salami. While I ordered the Cuban breakfast that came with scrambled eggs, Cuban Toast, French fries Cuban Coffee. Needless to say, the food is authentic, served piping hot and delicious. The staff is a delight and I feel good about supporting our local businesses. I will definitely be back and am sure I will be making this a regular pick up spot for my Dominican food desires, lol!

11.06.2023 - 12:09I love love love this place. Cuban-Puerto-Rican in North Miami with the open order window for your Cuban coffee and pastelitos. Get the egg ham and cheese (tortilla sandwich) for breakfast with a cafe con leche. You'll be here every day for this. But also, Everything on their menu is delicious and made authentically. It's hard to find a parking a spot sometimes but well worth it.

09.05.2023 - 04:49This is the quintessential Mexican dive. I've never been disappointed in the countless times I've been here. The green mole burrito is exceptional. The tacos are traditional and extremely well done. The homemade salsa that they bring to your table when you arrive is one of the best I've had. Fresh and flavorful. The homemade guacamole is also on point. Rich, creamy and full of Mexican flavor. It's not fancy but it always gets my stomach full of good food and makes my heart happy. It's probably my favorite favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Miami. Thank God it's not too far from home. If you live in the area, save yourself a trip to Homestead. Go no further than here.

04.05.2023 - 05:23I say it took 17min to get service once sitting. No water or menu occupancy. The food was disappointing. But I wanted Ceviche small bites that the server mentioned the Ceviche is pre-cut and everything they do is it. Meaning (NOT FRESH could not satisfy my request. That's what threw me away. So I ordered lomitó empanadas , cause de pollo. I have to say the chickens were all potatoes and a little chicken. Ridiculous, also tasteless looked pretty, but not worth it. The empanadas was sweet flavored!! It had coated sugar super strange for meat inside. But I can say that it was not bad, just not what I wanted (not mention sugar on the menu also had to ask for sauce because it was easy. Server was nice, but only came once and never came back to check. Someone brought my check. Slow day inside and still bad service. Don't come back. Not recommended. 18% Tip included for no service no thanks

28.03.2023 - 11:26Excellent place to eat authentic food from Spanish. Their chef is from Spain, their vines from Spain as well as most of the ingredients for their dishes. The ambience is spectacular. Everyone is very friendly. You can tell that they know each other and that they have been working together for a long time. Great place to bring friends and family. Their live music shows are just another great feature of this gem in Miami. Excellent musicians, singer, and flamenco dancer. You can eat, enjoy your company, and at the same time enjoy an excellent show that doesn?t unable from talking to the people at your table (like in other places that the music is so loud that you can barely talk to the people right next to you) . This place is different, very exquisite. We loved everything about this restaurant. Thank you.

19.09.2022 - 05:01This spot has tons of variety for vegans, from tacos to burritos to nachos to bowls to salads and more! Tonight I tried their tacos and a special item: vegan crunchwrap! Their tortillas for their tacos are absolutely delicious. Their vegan protein options are grilled cactus, grilled veggies, and jackfruit... definitely an exciting alternative to beyond meat, which is usually the only vegan option for items like this. Their food is traditional Mexican style and does not disappoint! Our food was to-go, and it was very well packaged. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean inside.
