What started off as a simple snack stop, extended into additional orders of their other snacks. Although we understand Bahasa indonesia, we did not understand their local dialect and many of the items on the menu. They surprised us woth a complimentary platter of snacks which turned out to be fried sweet potatoo, fried cassava and cassavea ball with coconut fillings. To entertain us while the snacks were being prepared, the waiter who attended to us offered a complimentary back and shoulder massage and he recommended their local beverage called wadeng which is a brew of ginger, galangal and other fresh herbal ingredients.
