I was incredibly surprised at this small restaurant. Located in the back of an art and furniture store, this place was brimming with its own local charm. If you have a little bit of time, it's a really good place to grab a good lunch! I personallyrecommend the muffaletta!

Have you ever found that cozy little neighborhood cafe just down the street, where the personable staff remain the same, the environment feels like home and the food is great? This is Cafe Fleur De Lis. Situated on a quiet street, surrounded by bothbusiness and residential, this gem opens early and if your smart you would get there early. If you get there later in themorning, plan on a wait. Remember this is New Orleans and the streets do entertain, so take it all in out there. A typical cafewhere the plates are clinking, and the coffee is constantly brewing, there is a lot of energy here. Whether you end up on thefirst or second floor, the staff are consistently great and have you covered. Each day we ate here, our server remained the sameso cheers to that, she was great, she had everything covered and remembered us each time we showed up. The humble menu offers awonderful variety, and being each entree is unique to the cafe, I didn't hesitate to explore. Isn't it human nature to alwaysfind a favorite? It certainly is for me, and my favorite was the eggs Benedict. The homemade biscuit in place of that typicalspongy and tough English muffin that usually requires a steak knife to cut through, made my day and complimented the overallconsistency of the entree perfectly. Where I come from coffee is the beginning of the day and a precursor to breakfast. Unlikethe burnt bean flavor coffee you typically get at Starbucks, theirs has a smooth presentation and finish, add the real cream, orbetter yet, make it an Irish coffee! Seriously! The food is great, the people are wonderful, and the price is more thanreasonable, what more is there? Cheers!

Let?s start with the highs then go to the lows. The highs- the curry was one of the best I had. If you?re deciding on a noodle option- the drunken noodles were fine little noodles packed with satisfying flavor. The lows- the service. Since you place orderat the counter, there must have been some confusion as to what we got but the food still came out relatively fast. It?s prettynoisy inside. And the pad thai was just decent.

They have gluten free bread! The Pesto Turkey sandwich had so much flavor and made with fresh ingredients. My iced almond milk latte was made perfectly. Excited they opened up their second location in my neighborhood that I can walk to. A welcoming, friendly, beautifully designed space and love the outdoor seating. Will be a regular there for sure!

Watch the beignets get tossed into the deep fryer and enjoy the powdered sugar covered French doughnuts. Some tips: Don?t inhale when eating a beignet Don?t wear dark colored clothing. The powdered sugar gets everywhere Ask for the sugar anddoughnuts to be separate if you?re getting them to go

First time ever experiencing Indian food. Pleasantly surprised. I got tired of always hearing about curry so decided to give it a go. Pretty sure I hand the lamb vindaloo, the seekh kebab and the maharaja beer (Indian lager) Definitely want to try moreof the things on the menu. Has a more upscalish feel to the restaurant like the bonefish so perfect scenario for a date night.

Went to New Orleans to celebrate a few birthdays and this was the location of the official dinner night. We tried the alligator wings. Very different taste not like chicken. You'll just have to try it to understand. The red fish with potatoes was sodelicious,I wish I would have ordered it but I got the white fish. It was good but need much more seasoning. The other two guestwith me, liked there meals but were not thrilled by them. The drinks were lip smacking good and I tried all the dessert and thebread pudding was my fav. I will eat here again, this is actually my second time eating at this establishment. All of the waitersand host were so kind and did a great job. Thank you

Salads are pretty good, but the way they package take-out orders is downright criminal. They come in these cute little Chinese food boxes, but the ratio here is 98% lettuce 3 morsels of protein and 6 blades of cheese. Then, with any oxygen left in thebox, they push a single ramekin of dressing down on top. (Thanks, Pat!

I will never eat/order from this place ever again!! They are very unsanitary and very unprofessional!!! They get your order wrong and blame you! The food is too expansive and doesn?t taste good at all! It?s not even worth one star.
