Shaka Restaurant is not a fancy place, but does offer tasty food with a smile. We stopped in on a Sunday for lunch....not sure if they were open. The lovely lad... The lovely lady running the place said Certainly and btw it 's cash only. Not a problem. We had the pork and cabbage, and the lau lau pork wrapped in taro leaves. And a side of macaroni salad. Heaven!!

It's not a fancy place, but all you need....and the staff was very friendly.

Situated in a nice triangle piazza with other eateries we opted for Pan Cafe. We started with fresh cheese three ways and tuna appetizer. Entrees Roast chicken... We were staying across the street from il drago d'oro in a rental apartment and thought why not try it. We love Italian food, but it's nice to mix it up for you... The veggie ravioli/dumplings were a vibrant green. We noticed several tables near us on the patio order big plates of dumplings. Wonton Soup, chicken satay, curry rice and udon with shrimp were all lovely. Total bill for two, including a liter of house wine 37 Euros. A real deal.

Driving a loop to from Bolzano to Cortina d'Ampezoo, to see the remarkable Dolomite Mountains, we found this nice place for lunch along the route. Great staff a... We enjoy stopping at the Autogrill properties when traveling. This location has the quick food counter and also a cafeteria style restaurant over the Autostrada... Their selections of salads are unlike any truck-stop in the U.S. Jugs of olive oil and vinegar are at your disposal. (I still make a pancetta, blanched green bean, asparagus salad we had 11 years ago. I call it my Autogrill Salad! Other food choices are varied and appear satisfying.
