Kind of odd being that it was afternoon on game day. And we werean hour early. The waitress was surly and just uncaring, it was obvious. We went ahead and ordered. We got nachos and mozzarellasticks to start. The nachos had chips that were completely burnt and the cheese was cold. Inedible. What was worse is theyserved them knowing that. The cheese sticks were gross. Also cold and with a marinara that was like straight tomatoes. I?venever sent food back and I had to. The waitress was not nice. She did admit they were actually out of chips and had to make dowith these and they were concerned with how they turned out. All I could think is if you knew they were bad, don?t servethem. Then she explained the cheese sticks were in a beer batter that tastes like beer that some don?t like. When I asked if Icould order something else her reply wasn?t something kind like, ?sure, so sorry that happened.? It was, ?well, what do youwant?? In a tone that suggested if my answer wasn?t correct then no, I couldn?t. I was kind of shocked. We honestly would haveleft if my son hadn?t placed an order as well. I?d seen her be short with another table as well and another table have issuewith food. This was just not good service at all. In between that we?d asked where the game would be shown (on screen) andthey weren?t sure. We?d asked to know where to sit. Then we?d asked if closed captioning could be put on and again, no. It waslike they couldn?t be bothered. They did turn the volume up, which was appreciated, but in a loud restaurant, didn?t help. AllI could think was thank goodness it was preseason and just the two of us and not the whole family. I visited on 1/26. Staff incredibly rude to every customer in the restaurant, taking out their frustrations on the customers and blaming each other. Our waitres... Lire plus I visited on 1/26. Our waitress blamed the cook for the bad food “not the first meal I’ve comped today, the cook is new” and heard her tell someone else “the bartender is new and is taking their time” with quite the tone sounds like a bad team environment for sure. Took 15 minutes or so for them to even clear off a table for us to sit at. When we stopped to ask a second person about getting the table cleared, the said just a few minutes… then the manger or something came around and practically scolded us for asking staff for assistance because “they are food runners and it’s slowing down food service”. My grandma asked 3 times for a Mountain Dew and never got it throughout our meal. As we were finally handed the menus after being at the table for a while the waitress asked if we knew what we wanted… no, we just got the menus… when we got our food had to ask for silverware. The food wasn’t the best, my grandma wouldn’t even eat hers. To be fair it was a little busy and they were short staffed, but customers would be much more understanding if they were at least polite. It just seemed very scrambled and unorganized and staff was probably very tired and stressed, I know many restaurants are short staffed. Our waitress did comp my grandmas meal which was nice. I just wish the people were nicer.

Metro is a low bar, but this place has not reached it. low effort sandwich but it wasn't bad and the scavenging application was super easy? I suggest the owner goes to the dollar shop and buys a bottle and leads some extra training?
