Good employees and service but that is clearly a rip off. Enjoyed the Caesar salad theother day. Was reasonably priced. It was like 9$. Before this today I had a great feel for the place.

And they seemed underdone while simultaneously looking as though their friesmight always look like that?.. if that makes sense lol. They tasted good just needed that crispy crispy yo. That crispy crispy .Oh a big small win tho--they got Barq 's Red Creme Soda on fountain tap! That was an awesome surprise. A smaller small win is the burger did not come with condiments automatically on it. So although I ordered it plain and it came to the table dressed,it was okay cuz it was just the lettuce, tomato, onions, and the pickles on the side next to it . WHICH I APPRECIATED VERY MUCH.Cuz then I could actually enjoy some freshness on my burger without it being ruined by wet condiments applied via cashiermistake. Overall, there are better burgers and fries out there for the same price range and cheaper. But it 's not bad food. Itwas good food.... just not the best food. I might go back one day but probably not if other options are available on that givenday. Just being real! It also has a new menu, but retained some of the old time favorites notably the duck gumbo and hallelujah soft shell crab. We were there forSunday brunch for a friend's birthday. The service was excellent and our table of six all loved their meals. Based on this visitI would say the problems of the past have been resolved and the reopening kinks have been worked out. I will definitely be goingback very soon. This is not a cheap eats place. It is more of fine dining with fine dining prices and a dress code. Tee shirts,sneakers, ripped jeans and athletic wear would never be appropriate.

I understand that an establishment wants to close and get out of there at closing time, but if a customer is there before 8 o?clock and islooking you in the eyes the whole time they?re walking/running up to the door to lock it is not good business. I love the Bobaplace on Oneal anyway. They will be getting my money now.
