We only went to Café La Palma shortly before leaving San Miguel as it's conveniently located close to the bus terminal, but ended up wishing we had come earlier... The selection of plates is big and very varied. Everything we had was delicious: the Sopa Azteca, the antipasti salad and the Cottage Pie. We also asked to get an assortment of the vegan cheeses to try and got a delicious platter including jam, chutney and tapenade and toasted bread. Even though we were full already, we took a piece of the carrot cake to-go. Had it later that day and what can I say: It was seriously one of the most delicous carrot cakes I've ever had. On top, the staff was extremely nice and the place is just lovely with a nice shaded terrace and lots of space. Highly recommended!
