The pasta is home made daily and it shows. The pasta was nice and thick, and delicious. The sauce was also great. The wait staff was very nice and helpful to our needs/questions too. It was a midweek day towards the end of summer when I decided on my way back from Retiro station to get out of Vicente López station to have dinner with my sist... You can choose a table on...the sidewalk or eat inside depending on the weather. We tried a delicious assortment of empanadas (turnovers) filled with spicy meat, mozzarella and chicken. The personal pizza made Neapolitan style was crunchy on the dough and generously added ham, mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, all natural ingredients. The third dish was gnocchi al fileto, made with a light tomato sauce base, oregano and garlic. For dessert, it was charlotte (ice cream covered with hot chocolate) and coffee. The service was professional, as it is almost everywhere in Buenos Aires. During the day, walk around the neighborhood. It has lots of character and European looking in many ways. The River Plate is a 10 min walk from the restaurante; a pleasing stroll along the river is a must.
