I specifically liked the salmorejo (cold cream of fresh tomato, garlic, vinegar and olive oil, topped with chopped jamon and egg). The prices of the tapas are around 2 €

Nos acercamos a este chiringuito atraídos por el embarcadero, que tiene como opción el alquiler de embarcaciones acuáticas. Nos disponemos a sentarnos y el cama... Nos disponemos a sentarnos y el camarero muy simpático vino a atendernos. Le pedimos que por favor nos traiga la carta y nos dice que la “carta” es él. Nos empieza a recitar unos cuantos platos, de los que elegimos un plato de paella y un calamar. El arroz del plato de paella, durísimo y salado. El calamar sabor carbóncillo y ni mucho menos fresco. Nos disponemos a pedir la cuenta, nos traen un papel casi ilegible, a modo de ticket, sin CIF ni nombre de establecimiento, ni fecha ni absolutamente datos fiscales de ningún tipo. El calamar quemado 35€ El plato de paella 6€ 2 tintos de botellín, una caña y una Coca Cola 9€. Total 50€. Le pedimos pagar con datáfono ya que lo tiene en la barra y nos dice que está fuera de servicio hoy (todo muy casual). Chocante resulta que en primera línea de playa aún existan negocios facturando de esta manera, sin control ninguno. Cuando por ley están obligados a tener una carta de Precios visible al usuario, cosa que al pedirla no nos dieron y en ninguna parte del chiringuito había. Incomprensible que por parte de las autoridades pertinentes no se lleven a cabo inspecciones de este tipo de chiringuitos, que se aprovechan del turista para facturar como les conviene. Acabamos pagándole la “cuenta” tras hacerle saber al camarero que es ilegal la forma que tienen en el establecimiento de vender sus productos. Evidentemente, no volveremos y hemos dejado constancia de la forma de operar de este establecimiento en Consumo. Recomiendo almorzar en cualquier chiringuito que sea legal con su clientela antes que aquí.

Hace mucho tiempo que no íbamos, hemos ido con todas las ganas de comernos unas migas y un arroz, que es una de su especialidad, pero... Las migas (Completas) e... Las migas (Completas) estaban aceitosas, algo duras y revueltas en pimiento. El arroz sabía fuerte, a vinagre. Las tapas son lo único que nos han gustado, que han sido albóndigas. Dos tintos y dos tapas 7€, algo más caro de lo habitual pero al menos han estado buenas. Los platos en general no están mal de precio, pero preferimos no tentar más a la suerte para pedir más platos e irnos. El servicio ha sido atento y rápido, la atención buena. Pero el aceite y el vinagre no le va a sentar bien a nuestro estómago.

The cannelloni was a couple of probably frozen pancakes/crepes filled with green mush no evidence or taste of spinach and ricotta) When we complained the waitress seemed unconcerned and told us that this was how the chef prepared it. My advice-never order pasta here.

Our family rocked up a 10am one Sunday morning for breakfast 6 adults and 2 kids. Heather was on her own to cook, take orders and serve drinks, inside and out.... She could have turned us away due to lack of staff but she didn't. Obviously breakfast took a little bit longer to be served to us but hey we were on holiday! Breakfast was brilliant. We all returned later in the week for another one! We also droped in for a drink one afternoon had a look at the evening meal menu. My hubby fancied the steak pie but doesn't eat chips. Heather offered to make mashed potatoes for him. We agreed on a time and at 19.30 were served another great meal. Thank you so so much Heather we will be back and will recimmend you to others.

I went here a couple of times on my recent short stay in Malaga. It does not look very special from the outside, but don't let that put you off. I had tapas rat... I had tapas rather than Menu del Dia, and the food was very tasty and very good value. Went in there one evening for a snack and a drink; great atmosphere watching a Spanish football match on the television!
