Lire plus It was my birthday and they were great! I got a special birthday dessert and the food was outstanding. The sommelier helped us pick a great wine with dinner. The service was outstanding. Our only complaint was it was a little noisier than we like, but we dealt with it. It was a great experience overall despite the noise. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Lire plus They want not only a long time between any cursor, but the intermediary service is very slow. my fiancée and I ordered cocktails and not even we were asked if we wanted a drink or a refill on our drinks. if the servers/heaters leave the table, they do not ask if there is anything else they need. it was one of the worst culinary experiences I ever had and not worth the price they pay for eating. eating was pretty good, but hard to enjoy with so bad service.

We made a reservation for lunch and were greeted by friendly staff and waited on by Brielle (spelling? who was friendly and fabulous. We were very happy with the quality of our food...everything was very tasty. We enjoyed a bottle of Joy White though I was a little sad that the Fiore was sold out. I understand it will be back in the spring and look forward to my ladies day trip planned for the end of April! We also did the estate tasting and enjoyed all of what we tasted. Ended up having a cup of mulled wine and enjoying the tasting room enclosed patio and fire place. Every person we encountered was friendly and welcoming...well done Cross Keys!

Have always enjoyed Fry's Spring Station but this trip was our first post-covid shut down and it was not particularly good. It was also our first visit for brun... It was also our first visit for brunch, which perhaps was part of the issue. We were a large party but there were not many other tables when we arrived. Our waitress took our orders promptly, but things went downhill quickly after that. Food trickled out of the kitchen instead of being served together, with one member of our party waiting almost an hour for his sandwich. Our waitress didn't return to check on us for drinks or otherwise for at about 45 minutes. The food that came out of the kitchen was inconsistent- mine was good, but other dishes were not. My husband's eggs were way overcooked and should not have been served. A child in our group ordered sliders and they were like hockey pucks and not really edible. Another person's bloody mary was mixed with very off proportions. I'm chalking this up to staffing issues, but something was clearly off in the kitchen, in particular. It was especially disappointing as we had out-of-town guests with us and obviously would have liked a better experience for their sake. It was also our first time sitting outside and just be forewarned that the restaurant is near a huge fire station. There were at least two calls during our meal, so lots of loud sirens which was not great for the children in our group. Not the restaurant's fault, of course, but something to be aware of as outdoor seating is a prime feature. I would return for pizza, wings, and beer, but would avoid brunch.

Lire plus We went here last night, as there are no tonne vegan options in charlottesville. it is quite typical Indian dishes, some of which can be veganized. the food we ordered (chana masala and alu gobi) was very oily and unfortunately I made myself quite sick of mine, so I can't give it a big review. it was generally delicious, but nothing impressive. the service was shocked, and we and the table next to us finally went up and asked for our bill because we seemed to have forgotten. it wasn't their best night, so I don't know if I would generalize it that they have bad service from one experience. could have been one. we probably wouldn't go back.
