After paying the bill at my table, I looked at the bill and noticed I was overcharged by $2.50 prior to taxes being added on. I brought this to the new owner 's attention and she said its for the gravy I asked to have put on top of my American fries. #1-the waitress should have said there would be an extra charge and how much it would be so I could make an informed decision if I wanted to pay $2.50 for a little bit of gravy on my potatoes. #2-$2.50 for a bit of gravy? Their gravy isn 't that great! #3-all charges should show on the bill so customers know what they 're paying for. The owner didn 't offer to make it right and refund me the $2.50 that I was unaware of being charged for and instead she just continued to argue with me. That 's bad business. Also, I was seated at a dirty table that had sticky syrup all over it and had to be wiped and my friend ordered a pancake in substitution for potatoes, but wanted it to come out later so it would be hot when he was ready to eat it, which he 's requested before and it wasn 't a problem. The last two times, including today, they brought it out with his meal. The one waitress said, well, they made it already and the waitress we had today said, I don 't remember you saying that , but at the time of ordering, she acknowledged the request.

I decided to get the Thai Curry Chicken Sandwich Amazing!!!! It was sooo flavorful that my only thought was when I could come back again. The place was exceptionally clean and one of the owners took the time to explain the menu items. My chicken was so moist, fresh, and flavorful. I also purchased the fried pickles that they battered right when ordered. They were truly the best that I've had. Do yourself a favor and try a new go to place! This place WILL NOT disappoint you. This is not an average sandwich place. Thank you for a great experience!

The food was fabulous. My parents are planning on going back because they loved the food and the atmosphere. Thank you Galati’s for making it memorable and so much fun. Highly recommended for any events for hosting.

I basically took 3 small bites and gave full plate back. Server didn 't even comment. Won 't be eating there again. The atmosphere was nice, hence the 2 stars.

Update worse problem is, evidently the pizza slid during the delivery so there wasn't even cheese on pizza let alone sauce. Such a shame, I just ordered last month, an L stuff pizza with Italian beef. Excellent. Smooth delivery, no sliding!!! Oh by the way my Italian beef sandwich, I even asked for a side of au jus, but I didn't receive any, What changed in the past six months??? Oh well, study picture LAME! This is acceptable??? Ha you’ve just lost a lot of business!!! That’s your response?!? Bye-Bye! I’m going to Nancy’s South Elgin, haven’t tried yet but should be much much better! The original! Gio-Barfos!
