Looking for somewhere to eat where we had not been in a while and we were craving fish and chips. Checked the hours online and said open until 6pm on a Saturday... We were excited and drove almost 45 minutes to find a note on the door saying dining in closing ar 4. We were there at 4:15. When I asked the lady at the counter, she was rude and told us 6pm is for take out only. And dining is closed. Well, that's not what their website said. We ended up ordering take out. Almost $60 of food that was soggy and not good. The lady at the takeout area was also rude. Asked if we wanted condiments. I asked for lots of tarter sauce and 2 packs of malt vinegar. I was told I was only allowed to have three tiny packets of tarter sauce for each of our three orders. I told her three was not enough as we like tarter sauce. I had to pay extra for more. This was so very disappointing. How much really do these tiny packets cost?? I'm not selling them!!! I'm enjoying them with the food I bought from you. The food for takeout was cold, soggy and not good. The fries seemed old and just reheated to give to us. Very dissatisfied. We used to come here often and even would reccomend to others. Trying to support local small restaurants. Never again and wont be back. Not worth the money and poor service
