Sadly they didn 't have baby octopus...that 's what I go to shabu for... *cry* They had 5 broth options, I went for the original it was good. I 'm not a big fan of shabu beef for some reason and usually go for the chicken I don 't think it 's chicken breast at this location and it had a gamey smell.... I 'm kind of sensitive. I think I 'll stick with the seafood. Always enjoy the vegetable, seafood, sauce and additional topping buffet bar. They have quail eggs! It 's an item I did not see in the LA location so I was VERY excited hahaha We tried a few of their izakaya items; shishito peppers and the jalapeno bombs all were decent, I was just too stuffed to try any of their sushi rolls though...maybe next time. You can order up to 6 plates of meat at a time.
